Dr. Preddie has over thirty years of experience in the martial arts and has trained students in the Fort Lauderdale area, South Carolina, Missouri, and Mississippi. He is an International Certified Black Belt; certified by the Universal Tae Kwon Do Association. He has thrilled many with his unique demonstrations, self-control, and extreme speed. He has trained police officers, dancers, and members of the U.S. Army Special Forces Group (Green Beret). Dr. Preddie holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and masters and doctoral degree in Health Science and higher education. He’s also a graduate of the prestigious China Academy of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Preddie is a well-known health and fitness lecturer in the South Florida area. He has conducted Martial Art programs for several years for the cities of North Lauderdale, Pompano, Coconut Creek, Deerfield Beach, and the City of Plantation. He presently gives private classes on how to handle nutritional deficiencies. Dr. Preddie is a former Broward County school teacher; he currently serves as an adjunct professor at ASA College and Broward College, instructing human anatomy and physiology. A native of Trinidad, Dr. Preddie has resided in Florida for over forty years. He spent six years in the U.S. Army Special Forces Group, and during that time, he served as a paratrooper and combat engineer. A significant milestone in Dr. Preddie’s pursuit of excellence has been his establishment of the “Elite Tae Kwon Do Institute.” The Institute is committed to providing excellent quality martial arts training at an affordable rate. Dr. Preddie was awarded “Man of Positive Image” by the City of Pompano for his outstanding contributions to youths in the community. While serving in the U.S. Army, Special Forces, (Green Beret), he was awarded the Army’s Humanitarian award and Certificate of Appreciation from the Governor of Florida for his service.
